Federal agents and county law enforcement officers surrounded a municipal police headquarters in Alabama on Tuesday morning, restricting access to the building.

Personnel from the FBI and the Mobile County Sheriff's Office placed crime scene tape around the Prichard Police Department. Some employees were told to leave the premises.

Officials scheduled a press conference for 10 a.m. to provide further details about the operation.
