Asheville Man Found Dead After Early-Morning Shooting on Granada Street
Grenadastar.com reports that the Asheville Police Department (APD) is investigating a homicide that claimed the life of a 27-year-old man in the early hours of Saturday, March 7.
Officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound victim near Granada Street at approximately 12:20 a.m. On arrival, they found Eric Lee Anderson Lordman Jr. deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police Captain Joe Silberman said investigators recovered critical evidence at the scene that led them to the suspect's vehicle. "We believe there were two perpetrators to this. We have a lot of evidence to go through. Our forensic technicians processed that scene, recovered a lot of physical evidence," Silberman said.
A subsequent search warrant yielded additional evidence, according to Silberman. APD believes Lordman was specifically targeted and has stated there is no broader threat to the public.
