Wyoming Police Sergeant Arrested for Stalking Nurse at Hospital with Loaded Glock

A Wyoming police sergeant was arrested last week and stripped of his duties after allegedly stalking a nurse at Weston County Health Services Hospital, sending threatening texts and charging toward her vehicle while carrying a loaded Glock handgun, Law & Crime reports.
Nicholas Joseph Kaminski, 36, faces charges of aggravated assault and battery and threatening another person with a drawn deadly weapon, according to court documents obtained by the Cowboy State Daily.
According to an arrest affidavit, Kaminski repeatedly called and texted the nurse while positioned outside the hospital during the early morning hours. In a series of messages, he allegedly told her: "U have 3 minutes to either come out here or answer the phone." He also instructed her to take her "f—ing a— outside" or he would enter the building to confront her. It remains unclear what prompted the confrontation.
When the woman urged him to stop — writing, "Please just stop all of this. It doesn't have to be like this. You are the only one making it this way. Please." — Kaminski allegedly responded: "U made this worse by not coming outside."
He eventually left the scene but continued contacting the woman through the night, police say. A hospital employee reported spotting a man in dark clothing, believed to be Kaminski, lurking near the building around 3:30 a.m.
Just before 4 a.m., as the nurse prepared to leave for home, Kaminski reappeared in the parking area and moved toward her car. A Weston County law enforcement officer accompanying her ordered him to back off.
"She doesn't want to talk to you," the officer allegedly said.
"I don't give a f—," Kaminski replied, according to the affidavit. "Shut the f— up."
Kaminski then "started to sprint towards the vehicle," the affidavit states.
Officers arrested him on the spot. A search found a loaded Glock 48 on his person — one round chambered, ten in the magazine — along with a large folding knife, brass knuckles, and a cellphone.
Kaminski has been relieved from duty pending the legal proceedings. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
