The overnight unrest devolved into clashes with law enforcement, property destruction, and vandalism. According to 24.hu, rioters torched a parked school bus and damaged several other vehicles.

Gunfire also broke out around Times Square during the chaos. A teenage boy sustained a leg wound from the shooting. Police reported that the minor was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

Knicks owner James Dolan had urged supporters from San Antonio to celebrate the title peacefully. The team's official victory parade is scheduled for the coming Thursday.
