An LVMPD officer was arrested June 19 on multiple domestic violence charges and is now on unpaid leave pending investigation.

A member of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was taken into custody Friday on accusations related to domestic abuse and has since been stripped of his duties and pay.
Jeremiah Jordan, who has worked for the department since 2023, was placed in the Clark County Detention Center. He is accused of assaulting a partner using a deadly weapon, three instances of coercing a partner through threats or force, and one case of domestic battery.
Jordan serves in the Community Safety Division at the Enterprise Area Command. The agency has removed his authority to act as an officer and halted his salary while the matter is examined further.
