Man shot dead in Birmingham's Kingston neighbourhood, suspect arrested

Fatal shooting on Roscoe Avenue claims life of 25-year-old

A 25-year-old man was shot and killed late Tuesday night in Birmingham's Kingston community, wbrc.com reports. The victim has been identified as Brionn Arronjaee Orr.

The shooting occurred at approximately 11:42 p.m. in the 4600 block of Roscoe Avenue. Orr was transported to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:30 a.m.

Birmingham Police confirm that a suspect is in custody. Authorities are asking anyone with additional information to contact Birmingham Police at 205-254-1764 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
