Law enforcement took a man into custody on Sunday at a golf resort belonging to Donald Trump located close to Los Angeles. When officers made the arrest, they recovered bullets from the man’s pockets and a loaded handgun from his automobile. Investigators who later searched his apartment seized extra guns, protective vests, and notebooks with content police labeled unsettling.

This development follows a prior event in September 2024, when a 58-year-old tried to fire at Trump on a Florida golf course during the latter’s presidential campaign; the perpetrator received a life sentence.
