Man Wounded in Drive-By Shooting in Northwest Fresno

A 44-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his thigh during an early morning shooting in northwest Fresno, California, according to ABC30 Fresno.

Law enforcement received a ShotSpotter alert in the vicinity of North Maroa Avenue and Pinedale Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday. Responding officers discovered the victim in front of a residence with the injury.

Emergency personnel transported the man to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. He has since been discharged from the hospital.

Authorities are actively searching for the shooter. The Fresno Police Department is requesting anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact them.
