Three people were taken into custody in separate incidents across Ulster County, with charges ranging from substance possession to identity misrepresentation, according to the Daily Freeman.

In the early hours of a Tuesday morning, a 36-year-old Kingston resident was stopped by state troopers in Ulster. David A. Brown was accused of having a controlled substance in his possession and of driving without valid authorization. Both counts are misdemeanors. He was issued appearance tickets and released, with a date to answer the charges at Kingston City Court.

Separately, a traffic stop on July 6 led Ronsendale town officers to arrest Gari Gonzalez, a 44-year-old Kingston resident. She was accused of pretending to be someone else and of operating a vehicle without a proper license. Both allegations are misdemeanors. Authorities also ticketed her for exceeding the speed limit. She was released with tickets to appear before Rosendale Town Court.

In another case, officers from the same town department stopped Ilona Field, a 37-year-old from Wawarsing, on June 16. She faces a felony accusation of possessing a hallucinogenic substance, along with a misdemeanor charge of driving without valid authorization. Police also cited her for speeding.
