A woman who produced adult material has been handed a four-year custodial sentence after a man perished during a paid encounter that was captured on camera. The case was covered by Expressen and the New York Post.

Michaela Rylaarsdam, aged 32, had agreed to meet Michael Dale, 55, in exchange for approximately 100,000 Swedish kronor. The arrangement included filming their interaction for her subscription-based adult content page.

During the session, Dale had asked to be tied up and wrapped in plastic sheeting. Rylaarsdam put adhesive tape across his mouth and placed a bag over his head for roughly eight minutes. Because he was tied up, he could not free himself. He lost his life due to lack of oxygen.

After realizing something had gone wrong, Rylaarsdam contacted emergency services, but help arrived too late. She later admitted guilt in connection with Dale's death. Her legal representative maintained that the deceased had willingly sought the activity and that she had acted appropriately once she noticed problems.

The court imposed a four-year sentence for causing another person's death. Addressing the victim's relatives in the courtroom, Rylaarsdam expressed remorse and said she wished she could undo what had happened.
