A mother in rural Nebraska has been taken into custody, accused of aiding her daughter conceal an alleged homicide.

Ruby Bingham was picked up by state troopers this week. She faces accusations of messing with physical proof, improperly dealing with human remains, and helping after a serious crime. The arrest followed a raid on a property in Sheridan County on 11th June, as KOLN/KGIN-TV reported.

The matter traces back to Ebram Sifuentes, a 32-year-old man from Alliance who vanished last August. Relatives reported him gone, and troopers asked the public for tips in early September. Days later, remains turned up in a remote area of Box Butte County. Lab tests are still running, though officials say they strongly believe the body is his.

Bingham's daughter, Tamara, was already in jail on a first-degree murder charge tied to the same case. Another man, Matthew Landreth, aged 36, was also arrested and accused of helping afterward.

In a twist, court papers show Tamara filed for a restraining order against Sifuentes on the exact day police went public with their search for him. She claimed he hurt her and twice said he would kill her when she tried to leave him. That case is still open and contains only her claims, not any criminal rulings.

Several agencies are assisting with the ongoing probe, including local sheriffs, city police, and the state attorney general's office.
