Human skeletal remains were discovered early Friday morning at an establishment in the 2900 block of Georgia Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., wreg.com reports.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), officers executed a search warrant connected to a death investigation at approximately 7:12 a.m. on June 5. During the operation, police located two adult men on the property and arrested both on charges of unlawful entry.

The remains were found at the same location. MPD confirmed that the identity of the deceased individual has not yet been determined.

The death investigation remains ongoing. No further details have been released by authorities.
