East Brook Middle School in Paramus, New Jersey, recalled its newly distributed graduating yearbooks after a shocking discovery: the baby-pictures section included a photograph later identified as Adolf Hitler as an infant.

Principal Ryan Aupperlee informed parents in a letter that the troubling image was found after the yearbooks had already been handed out. The school has promised to issue a corrected edition.

The incident has launched a police investigation.
