A 67-year-old woman fatally shot two family members inside a South Philadelphia home before ending her own life, according to law enforcement officials.

Janice Picano allegedly opened fire on her 18-year-old granddaughter, Angelina Picano, and a 55-year-old woman identified as Denise Grottini. The incident occurred in a residence in the southern section of the city.

After shooting the two victims, the older woman reportedly used the same firearm to kill herself.

The Philadelphia Police Department confirmed the identities of all three individuals involved in the tragedy.

Authorities have not yet disclosed a possible motive for the violence. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
