Police in Florida detained a 41-year-old educator after residents reported suspicious activity inside a red vehicle parked on a local street. Officers arriving at the scene discovered Michelle Lynn Hancock together with a seventeen-year-old male inside the automobile. Both individuals admitted they were engaged in sexual conduct.

The incident took place during the night of June 23 in Palm Bay, Brevard County. According to information provided by WKMG, authorities received a tip from neighborhood residents who noticed something questionable occurring within the parked car.

Investigators determined that Hancock had previously worked at the same school the teenager attended. The two had reconnected in May through electronic messages. Following renewed communication, the woman allegedly began inviting the pupil to her vehicle for sexual encounters at the same location where she was ultimately apprehended.

Law enforcement officials filed multiple charges against Hancock. These include luring a minor, statutory rape of a ward, and using electronic communication devices to involve an underage person in sexual activity.
