Florida Duo Arrested After Alleged Vehicle Break-ins Net Two Stolen Firearms

A pair of alleged vehicle burglars were apprehended in Miramar, Florida during the early morning hours of Thursday after a coordinated police response involving aerial surveillance and a K-9 unit.

The incident began around 3:42 a.m. when authorities received reports of people attempting to open car doors along the 7200 block of Alhambra Boulevard. Responding officers from Miramar Police began searching the neighborhood on foot while the Broward Sheriff's Office provided helicopter support.

From above, BSO aircrew observed the pair allegedly entering several automobiles. The suspects then fled on foot through the residential area.

Miramar officers, working alongside a Broward Sheriff's Office K-9 team, tracked down and captured both individuals in the vicinity of the 7600 block of Grandview Boulevard.

Law enforcement recovered stolen items during the investigation, including two firearms. Both suspects were booked on charges related to the break-ins.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of those arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
