Bivol! reports that Colombian billionaire Alex Saab Morán, appointed by Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro as a "special diplomatic envoy", was extradited from Cape Verde to the United States last weekend.

Saab is considered a cashier of the regime in Caracas and faces multiple financial crime charges in the US prosecutor's office.

Meanwhile, the funds linked to him at Bulgarian Investbank remain under no active investigation—the specialised prosecutor's office in the country has not taken concrete action in the case, according to Bivol! information.
