A former high-school teacher in Texas has been arrested and accused of maintaining improper relationships with pupils at Angleton High School near Houston.

Holly Adams was taken into custody on Tuesday, roughly one year after law enforcement began probing her conduct, according to Ekstra Bladet.

The investigation was launched when a student informed school administrators that Adams allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with a former pupil. The tipster claimed that the ex-student had placed a FaceTime call from Adams’ bedroom, where the bed was reportedly covered with nude photographs of the teacher. An additional image purportedly showed Adams and the former student lying together.

Authorities also allege that Adams invited students to her residence to carry out household tasks. She has reportedly admitted to exchanging messages with three members of the school baseball team via Snapchat.

Adams was released after posting bail set at $26,000 (approximately 167,000 Danish kroner) while the inquiry continues, Ekstra Bladet reports.
