The military described the three deceased as "narcoterrorists" and shared black-and-white footage showing a small boat exploding, followed by images of smoke and debris.

This incident occurred just days after a similar operation on Tuesday that left one person dead. Both strikes form part of an ongoing American military campaign that has drawn significant criticism. According to a tally by Agence France-Presse, more than 200 people have been killed in such operations since September.

The administration of Donald Trump has not presented solid evidence demonstrating that the targeted vessels were actively involved in drug trafficking. United Nations experts and officials have condemned these strikes as extrajudicial executions.
