Two teens held over Laredo vehicle fire from September
Authorities in Laredo, Texas have arrested two 17-year-olds in connection with a vehicle fire that broke out on September 7 at 3021 S Malinche, kgns.tv reports.
Following a thorough investigation, arson investigators secured four arrest warrants in total. Two of those warrants led to the arrest of Montserrat Hernandez and Jose Sandoval.
The remaining two warrants have not yet been executed. Arson investigators, working alongside police, continue to pursue those still at large, and additional arrests are considered possible.
Arson is classified as a second-degree felony in Texas, carrying a prison sentence of two to 20 years and a potential fine of up to $10,000.
