Surveillance cameras captured the moments before the murder of Desiree González, a Hispanic woman shot dead outside a convenience store in Little Havana, south Florida, according to telemundo51.com.

The incident occurred on Saturday, shortly before midnight, at the Habibi Mini Market on Southwest Third Street, confirmed by Miami Police.

The footage shows González—wearing a red jacket and black cap—entering the establishment. Moments later, a dispute erupted between people on bicycles and two individuals who were outside the shop.

The video records González leaving the business during an exchange of gunfire. People present ran towards her to try to help her.

"The woman came out," the shop owner said. "They shot her in the neck... she fell."

González was taken to hospital, where she subsequently died.

Julio Saenz, who identified himself as the victim's boyfriend, described the impact of the loss. "She was a beautiful person," he stated. "My heart is broken, because having her by your side and then, 15 minutes later, she's gone. And when you go to look for her and you find out that the person is already dead, you don't know what to do."

Flowers and candles now mark the site of the incident. Police consider that González was not the target of the attack. The investigation is ongoing.
