A man in a wheelchair was struck by a Molotov cocktail and engulfed in flames directly in front of the Oklahoma City police headquarters last week. Security cameras captured the assault, showing the burning victim desperately trying to escape while the attacker pushed him back into the fire, according to NBC News.

The incident occurred just outside the police department building. Footage from the surveillance system shows the moment the incendiary device hit the wheelchair-bound man, instantly igniting him. As flames consumed him, the victim attempted to flee, but the assailant forced him back toward the fire.

Police officers apprehended the suspect only moments after the attack took place.
