A 58-year-old staff member at a Jacksonville medical facility has admitted in court to pilfering pricey robotic apparatus used in surgeries.
Angela Kearse, who was employed at St. Vincent’s Hospital on the Southside, acknowledged taking machinery valued at over $60,000, according to News4JAX.
Court filings indicate Kearse used her position at the hospital to carry out the thefts. The stolen items were specialized robotic arms utilized in medical operations.
