According to Searchlight.vc, investigators in St Vincent and the Grenadines have not previously encountered a homicide where a cell phone was jammed into a deceased person’s mouth. In other countries, such an act has been linked to gang violence, mob executions, or ritualistic killings.

Lewis’s relatives are preparing for her funeral while grappling with the shocking details of how she was killed.
