Personnel conducting the sweep located four handguns plus a long gun inside the dwelling. They also came across dozens of wrapped packages containing imported cannabis. The plant material tipped the scales at just over 98 pounds, split across 86 bundles. Officials placed the monetary worth of the narcotics at approximately 80 million Guyanese dollars.

Law enforcement placed two male citizens of Guyana under arrest following the discovery. Their exact role in the alleged trafficking operation remains under investigation.
