A pair of suspects were taken into custody when officers discovered a pistol and a revolver during a raid at a housing development.
The Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit carried out the operation at Castello Housing Scheme on Tuesday. During the exercise, personnel allegedly recovered a 9mm Baikal Makarov handgun manufactured in Russia, as well as a .38 calibre Smith and Wesson revolver loaded with a single live round.
The agency later turned over the detainees and the seized weapons to the national police for continued investigation.
