Audi with active seizure order detained in Mayoraz neighbourhood
A 26-year-old man identified as F.N.D. was detained in the city of Santa Fe after being intercepted whilst driving a red Audi A1 with forged documentation and a suppressed chassis number, according to airedesantafe.com.ar.
The operation was carried out by personnel from the Motor Vehicles Section of the PDI, under the Ministry of Justice and Security of Santa Fe, at the intersection of 1 de Mayo and Gorostiaga, in the Mayoraz neighbourhood.
Upon checking the vehicle, officers detected that both the number plates and the vehicle registration document had irregularities. Verification of the chassis number confirmed it had been suppressed and re-marked. Upon checking the original number, it was established that the automobile had an active seizure order for theft, reported on 20 February 2025 in the province of Buenos Aires.
As a result of the procedure, the Audi A1 was seized, along with two allegedly false number plates, a forged vehicle registration document, a vehicle key, and documentation related to the vehicle.
By order of prosecutor José Suasnabar, F.N.D. was detained and charged with the offences of accessory to theft, suppression of the registration number of a registrable object, and falsification of a public document, and placed at the disposal of the courts.
