A 19-year-old man has been arrested after an 11-month-old boy, Grayson Walton, was found dead inside a house in Cleaton, Kentucky, kltv.com reports.
According to the Central City Police Department, Elijah Mayes had been left in charge of the infant while the baby's father was at work. Officers were called to a home on Harrison Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
Mayes initially told police that a family friend had picked up the child on Friday night. That person denied any involvement, prompting detectives to pursue other leads.
