Man shot dead in Riberalta with threatening message from hit men

Hit men execute young man in Riberalta and leave threatening note
Freddy Gonzales Bazán, 29, was shot dead by hit men in the Beni neighbourhood of the municipality of Riberalta, Beni department, according to reports from El Deber. The victim was shot in the abdomen and face.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers from the Special Force to Combat Crime (FELCC) Homicide unit, the Public Prosecutor's Office and forensic experts from the IDIF found a sheet of paper with a message written by the perpetrators of the crime: "Cholero wherever you hide we will find you..".
Police remain mobilised searching for the gunmen responsible for the killing. The execution occurs in the context of a growing wave of contract killings attributed to members of Comando Vermelho, an organisation that is disputing territorial control in the border zone with Brazil and in various regions of Beni.
