A man was arrested in flagrante delicto on Raposo Tavares Highway in Angatuba after traffic police found more than 400 weight-loss tablets and 38 ampules of foreign-origin anabolic steroid without fiscal documentation.

Traffic police caught a passenger transporting pharmaceuticals without Brazilian registration on Saturday afternoon (4 July) in Angatuba, in the interior of São Paulo state. The stop took place on Raposo Tavares Highway (SP-270).
The coach had departed from Londrina, in Paraná, with destination Campinas. During the inspection, officers discovered a considerable volume of prohibited substances in the vehicle's baggage compartment: 408 weight-loss tablets and 38 ampules of anabolic steroids.
The products, all illegally imported, had no invoice or any documentation proving their regular entry into the country. In addition to the medications, police also seized four mobile phones belonging to the suspect.
The arrest in flagrante delicto was effected and the man was taken to the Federal Police headquarters in Sorocaba, where he remained at the disposal of the courts.
