A police patrol stopped a car in the Brandenburg locality of Oberkramer on Saturday, 6 June. The officers immediately noticed that the driver appeared significantly underage. In fact, an eleven-year-old was at the wheel. His father was sitting in the passenger seat, having apparently consumed alcohol. The incident was reported by Bild.
The investigators had already received indications from other services beforehand. The clarification of the case still surprised them greatly. The man had instructed the boy to drive him to a petrol pump in the car. There he wanted to get additional beer.
Passers-by had seen the minor at the wheel and subsequently called the emergency services. Following the check, the adult refused a breathalyser test. The authorities opened an investigation against him.
