The tragedy occurred last month. According to police, the adolescent entered a one-way street on his motorcycle and struck the child, who had stepped into the road. The victim died in hospital.
The investigation established that the young man did not hold a driving licence, and the motorcycle was not registered. According to investigators, the father allegedly entrusted his son with the two-wheeled vehicle despite knowing that the boy did not have the legal right to drive.
Police are conducting investigations for manslaughter, driving a vehicle without a licence, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
