Google News RO — Crime (ro) reports that a 23-year-old prison officer has been detained by DIICOT for trafficking in high-risk drugs, after being caught red-handed in Cataloi locality transporting 200 grams of cannabis.
According to prosecutors, the suspect allegedly procured, possessed and sold drugs in the Tulcea area for three years, at the price of 40 lei per gram.
During the home search, investigators discovered hundreds of grams of cannabis, other doses of substances undergoing examination, grinders, as well as other material evidence.
Prosecutors have filed a motion with the court for preventive arrest for 30 days, according to RRA reporter Diana Surdu.
