Leeds man jailed for child image offences charged with fraud after taking nursery job on bail

A former nursery worker from Middleton, Leeds, who was sentenced to two years in prison for making more than 5,000 indecent images of young children, has been charged with fraud after obtaining a second job with children while on bail, ca.news.yahoo.com reports.

Kristian Parry, 27, was sentenced on 17 March at Leeds Crown Court after admitting to the image offences. The court also imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order lasting 10 years.

The BBC found that Parry had started work at a separate nursery in Leeds while under investigation and awaiting trial. The indecent images did not involve children in his care at either setting.

Parry has since been charged with fraud by false representation, relating to June 2025. He is scheduled to appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court on 2 October.
