Dismembered female torso found at Smyrna apartment; 18-year-old Kingston Bradley arrested

An 18-year-old man was arrested in Smyrna, Georgia after a dismembered female torso fell from a plastic tub he was carrying. Kingston Bradley fled but was apprehended.

An 18-year-old man was taken into custody in Smyrna, Georgia after a dismembered female torso fell from a plastic container he was carrying through an apartment complex, local12.com reports.

The Smyrna Police Department identified the suspect as Kingston Bradley. Officers had initially been dispatched to the complex at around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday in response to a missing-person call.

According to reporting by WAGA-TV, a witness observed Bradley carrying the plastic tub through an open area of the complex between 8 p.m. and 8:28 p.m. The tub fell onto a dirt path, spilling its contents. The witness stated that Bradley, upon noticing he had been seen, fled to his nearby unit.

Officers arriving at the scene determined that what had fallen from the container was the dismembered torso of an unidentified woman. Authorities subsequently entered Bradley's unit, where they reportedly made additional discoveries inside.

Bradley was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. According to the New York Post, charges were filed following the discovery. Separately, WAGA noted that Bradley was already facing charges of battery and terroristic threats in an unrelated case in Cobb County, Georgia.

The identity of the woman whose remains were found has not been established. Authorities described the matter as an ongoing missing-person investigation.
