Dismembered torso found in plastic tub at Georgia apartment, teen arrested

An 18-year-old was arrested in Smyrna, Georgia after a neighbour spotted him carrying a tub containing a dismembered human torso. A blood-covered saw was found in his apartment.

An 18-year-old man is in custody after Smyrna police found the dismembered body of a woman inside a plastic tub at an apartment complex in Georgia on Wednesday night, 21alivenews.com reports.

Kingston Bradley has been charged with a felony count of concealing the death of another and is being held without bond at the Cobb County jail.

According to the arrest warrant, a witness observed Bradley carrying a heavy plastic tub through an open area of the Park Valley Apartments at around 8:15 p.m. When Bradley noticed he was being watched, he allegedly dropped the container on a dirt walkway and fled into his nearby apartment.

Smyrna police investigators found a dismembered human torso inside the tub.

A subsequent search of Bradley's apartment uncovered multiple bloodstains and a large, blood-covered saw. Investigators also noted a strong smell of bleach throughout the unit, along with a mop, a bucket of water and a carpet cleaner.

The identity of the victim has not been released by authorities.

The Smyrna Police Department said the case remains under active investigation. No further details were available at the time of publication.
