North Carolina Fugitive Held in Virginia Pending Extradition

A 34-year-old North Carolina man wanted on felony warrants related to sex offender registry violations has been arrested in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, wdbj7.com reports.

Ronnie Allen Davis was taken into custody at a residence in Blairs by the Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office. The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina confirmed the arrest.

Davis faces charges including felony failure to register as a sex offender, failure to report an address, a parole or probation violation, and cyberstalking.

A North Carolina deputy provided Pittsylvania County authorities with a possible location for Davis, which led directly to his arrest. Authorities said the apprehension was carried out without incident.

Davis was additionally served with a fugitive warrant and is currently being held in Virginia while awaiting extradition to North Carolina.
