Three Men Arrested After Assault and Robbery Outside North Charleston Nightclub

Three men were arrested Friday night following an alleged assault and robbery outside the Generation X Cabaret Club in North Charleston, S.C.

Three men were arrested Friday night following an alleged assault and robbery outside the Generation X Cabaret Club in North Charleston, South Carolina, abcnews4.com reports.

Shyheme Barnes, 29, of Summerville, faces charges of strong-arm robbery, breach of peace, and possession with intent to distribute MDMA. Dayqwon Evans, 31, of North Charleston, and Darius Trey Matthew Delee, 32, of Ridgeville, were each charged with breach of peace in connection with the incident.

Officers were dispatched to the club on Cross County Road at approximately 8 p.m. after reports of a fight in the area. Upon arrival, police found Delee lying on the ground near the club's entrance, appearing intoxicated and disoriented with visible injuries. When questioned, he told officers nothing had happened and declined to identify himself.

Surveillance footage from the business reportedly showed Delee had been acting aggressively outside the venue — shouting at patrons, waving his arms, and shoving others — before Barnes approached and initiated a physical altercation.

Barnes and Evans then allegedly assaulted Delee, knocking him unconscious. Barnes subsequently removed Delee's wallet and took the cash inside, police stated. The two men fled the scene in Evans's pickup truck.

Officers later located the vehicle at a nearby 7-Eleven with both suspects inside. All three men were detained and booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center.
