Bradley Elliott, wanted fugitive, arrested by Barrie police on Ross Street

A man sought on a federal warrant after breaching his statutory release has been taken into custody in Barrie. Bradley Elliott, 42, was arrested Friday without incident.

Barrie police arrest federal warrant fugitive three days after manhunt launch

A 42-year-old man wanted on a federal warrant has been arrested in Barrie, ctvnews.ca reports.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad issued the warrant for Bradley Elliott after he went unlawfully at large on Aug. 24, accused of breaching his statutory release. Authorities noted he was known to frequent Barrie, Wasaga Beach, Alliston, Bradford, Collingwood and the Greater Toronto Area.

Barrie police officers arrested Elliott at an address on Ross Street on Friday, after receiving information about his whereabouts. He was taken into custody without incident.

At the time of his most recent arrest, Elliott was serving a sentence of four years and one month for multiple offences, including assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, motor vehicle theft and personating a peace officer.
