Ottawa police seek suspect in Orléans sexual assault near Brian Coburn Blvd

A woman jogging near Brian Coburn Blvd in Orléans was assaulted by a man on an electric scooter on Sept. 13. Ottawa police are asking the public for help identifying the suspect.

Ca.news.yahoo.com reports that the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking the public to help identify a suspect in an alleged sexual assault that took place in Orléans on Sunday, Sept. 13.

According to a news release issued Sept. 16, the incident occurred near the intersection of Brian Coburn Boulevard and Provence Avenue at approximately 9 p.m. A woman was jogging in the area when a man rode past her on an electric scooter and slapped her buttocks.

Police described the suspect as a White man in his twenties, wearing all-black clothing with his hood up.

Anyone with information about the suspect, or who has surveillance or dash-cam footage from that area around the time of the incident, is asked to contact the OPS East Division Criminal Investigations Section at 613-236-1222, ext. 3566.
