Fiscal's Office plans meeting with Police and Government following three weekend murders
Three homicides recorded over the weekend in San Ignacio de Velasco and Trinidad prompt the Fiscal's Office to coordinate measures against criminal violence.

Three murders that occurred during the weekend shook the country, according to reporting by El Deber. Two of the victims were attacked in San Ignacio de Velasco, a municipality in the Santa Cruz department, and a third in the Villa Magdalena neighbourhood of Trinidad, in Beni.
The General Fiscal's Office plans to hold a meeting this week with senior police command and the Ministry of Government. The objective is to define new lines of action in response to the escalation of criminal violence.
Fiscal General Roger Mariaca stated that all institutional mechanisms have already been activated. "With regard to the murders, all mechanisms have already been activated from the General Fiscal's Office, through the Superior Fiscal's Office on Crimes Against Life, as well as the Departmental Fiscal's Office and consequently the Bolivian Police", he specified.
Mariaca added that ongoing investigations point to both intellectual authors and perpetrators involved in the cases. The institution seeks to coordinate joint work with all entities that the law designates to stop the advance of violence.
In San Ignacio de Velasco, two men aged 22 and 36 were shot dead in different residences. In Trinidad, a third man also lost his life. The municipality in Santa Cruz had already registered similar incidents in previous weeks.
