Seized motorcycle links six detainees to another murder in San Ignacio de Velasco
A black motorcycle found in the possession of six detainees for a double homicide could connect them to the murder of a veterinarian in August. The Public Ministry is investigating the link.

A black motorcycle found in the possession of six apprehended individuals could be the key to linking them to the murder of veterinary surgeon Luis Dagner Parada Saavedra, 40 years old, shot dead in his business on 2 August in San Ignacio de Velasco, according to El Deber.
The six detainees — five Brazilians and one Bolivian — were already under suspicion for the double murder recorded on Monday in that same locality. Now, the Public Ministry, the Police and special units are analysing whether this additional crime also forms part of their criminal activity.
The State Attorney General, Roger Mariaca, stated that the motorcycle found "would have similarity or involvement in the event that occurred in August in San Ignacio de Velasco", in reference to the veterinarian's murder. Mariaca clarified that forensic examinations are being carried out to determine whether it is the same vehicle used in that crime.
"The Bolivian Police and special units are already working, under the functional direction of the commission of prosecutors that was established to investigate these cases. There are four prosecutors working jointly," he emphasised.
In addition to the motorcycle, the apprehended individuals were found in possession of firearms and ammunition. Mariaca reported that mechanisms have been activated by the State Attorney General's Office, the Superior Public Ministry for Organised Crime and Drug Trafficking, and the Departmental Public Ministry to clarify these events and their possible connection to criminal organisations active in the area.
