Spain's National Police in Soria arrested a Madrid resident during a routine public check after discovering he was the subject of an active arrest and imprisonment warrant.

During a routine public check in Soria, officers from Spain's National Police identified a man who was not carrying identification documents. The officers took him to the Provincial Police Station to establish his identity, according to sources from the Government Delegation. Source: ABC
Following the appropriate checks, the police discovered that an Instruction Court in the Spanish capital had issued a ruling for his arrest and imprisonment. The arrested man had a criminal record for serious offences, including unlawful deprivation of liberty and homicide.
Once documentation procedures were completed, the individual was taken to Soria Penitentiary, where he was admitted and placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
