The National Police have arrested a 45-year-old instructor who worked at a secondary school in the Málaga capital. The arrest was carried out by officers specialising in minors (Grume), following a complaint filed by a student who has not yet reached the age of majority.
The young woman reported that the suspect had committed sexual acts against her. According to information from ABC, the incidents under investigation are said to have taken place within the school itself, on occasions when the suspect and the student were present with no other people around.
The arrest took place at the beginning of June. Shortly afterwards, both the alleged victim and the arrested man appeared before the judicial authorities to give statements. Proceedings remain open at this time.
As a preventive measure, the Directorate General of Human Resources has decided to remove the teacher from his duties. This decision was notified to him on the 3rd of this month.
