Francis Heaulme faces assize court for twelfth homicide
According to franceinfo - Justice, French serial killer Francis Heaulme is referred before the assize court for the murder of a farmer perpetrated in 1986, a case for which he had nevertheless benefited from a non-suit.
Nicknamed "the hitchhiker killer", Heaulme has already been convicted of 11 homicides, committed during the 1980s and 1990s. He has been incarcerated since 1992.
This new judicial referral reopens a file that was believed to be closed, and brings to twelve the number of criminal cases in which the name of Francis Heaulme appears as the accused before the courts.
