On Monday evening, a traffic accident occurred in Budapest's District VI at the intersection of Izabella and Aradi streets. A minibus collided with a taxi and tore off its door. Following the collision, passengers who exited the taxi became engaged in a verbal altercation with the minibus driver, then launched a physical attack against him.
According to 24.hu, several men of foreign nationality exited the damaged taxi. The verbal exchange quickly escalated into a scuffle, with the minibus driver allegedly dragged from the vehicle and then beaten.
The Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK) stated in response to enquiries that a report was received, following which uniformed officers who arrived at the scene apprehended three individuals. Their processing is ongoing. The authorities are also investigating the circumstances of the traffic accident.
