The Northern Pierīga police station has opened administrative case materials concerning an incident that occurred on an inter-city train.
In mid-April, specifically on the 18th, a dispute broke out between several passengers on a train heading to the Estonian city of Valga. The railway train departed from Riga at 18.37 and was scheduled to arrive at its destination at 21.23.
Law enforcement officials are now attempting to establish who exactly participated in this incident and are calling on witnesses to come forward.
