Husband arrested after woman's death in Borków
Officers from Kielce city police headquarters apprehended a 65-year-old resident of Borków on Sunday just before 6 a.m. The man had been sought since Friday afternoon, when a lifeless 64-year-old woman was found in the family home.
A person from the victim's circle reported the incident. A doctor who arrived at the scene confirmed the death. According to TVN24 portal reporting, the woman may have sustained head wounds.
Over a hundred police officers, as well as helicopters, took part in the two-day search. The arrest took place in the Biesak district. Spokesman Małgorzata Perkowska-Kiepas stated that the man was provided with medical assistance. Procedural proceedings, which are to clarify all circumstances of the death, will take place after his health improves.
According to police data, there were no previous interventions in this family nor was the Blue Card procedure applied. The last person seen with the victim was her husband.
