44-year-old from Legnica arrested in Karpacz for assault and unlawful detention of stepson
The man attempted to lure his stepson out of the flat through deception and deprive him of his liberty, threatening both the boy and his wife. The court ordered three months' remand custody.
Detention in Karpacz: 44-year-old faces charges of violence against family
According to RMF24, a 44-year-old resident of Legnica attempted several days ago to deceitfully lure his stepson out of the flat and then deprive him of his liberty. He used physical violence against the boy and made threats to his life and health — both against the boy and against his own wife.
Police established that the man had left Legnica. Thanks to cooperation between officers from Legnica and Wrocław, he was detained in Karpacz. He was charged with unlawful deprivation of liberty, making criminal threats against his wife and stepson, and breaching a restraining order preventing him from approaching his wife and contacting her.
The man is known to police — he had previously been convicted of similar crimes. On the prosecutor's motion, the court ordered that he be held in custody for three months.
