According to thenationaldesk.com, an 18-year-old man was arrested after a dismembered female torso fell from a plastic tub at an apartment complex in Smyrna, Georgia.

The Smyrna Police Department identified the suspect as Kingston Bradley. Officers had initially responded to a missing-person report at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday when the discovery was made.

A witness told investigators they observed Bradley carrying a large container in an open area of the complex between 8 p.m. and 8:28 p.m. The tub was dropped onto a dirt path on a walkway inside the complex. After noticing he had been seen, Bradley fled to his nearby unit, the witness said.

Officers arriving at the scene determined that what had fallen from the container was the dismembered torso of an unidentified woman. The victim has not yet been formally identified, and a missing-person investigation remains ongoing, authorities said.

Upon entering Bradley's unit, police reportedly found a bloody saw and detected a strong bleach odour, according to reporting by WAGA-TV.

Bradley was arrested and charged in connection with the discovery. Separately, WAGA noted he was already facing charges of battery and terroristic threats in an unrelated case in Cobb County, Georgia.

Authorities have not publicly confirmed the identity of the victim or released further details about the nature of their relationship to Bradley. The investigation is ongoing.
